Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Everything Student stores, where it's stored, and what choices you have. Using this site doesn't require creating an account — in guest mode, everything you add stays in your own browser. Creating an optional account adds cross-device sync for supported workspace data, described below.

What's Stored Locally

Everything you add through the Dashboard/Planner — classes, assignments, exams, activities, to-dos, flashcard decks, notes, saved tool results, quiz history, and your nickname — along with preferences like theme and sidebar order, is saved in your own browser's local storage. In guest mode (no account), this data is not transmitted to us and stays on your device until you clear it yourself (see Your Choices below).

If You Create an Account

Creating an account (with an email/password or by continuing with Google) is optional. If you create one, the supported workspace data described above is synchronized to our servers so it's available when you sign in on another device. Signing in sets a session cookie so the site can recognize you on return visits (see Cookies below). Deleting your account removes the corresponding server-side data.

Tips

If you leave a tip, Stripe handles the payment on its own secure checkout page. Your card or wallet details go to Stripe and never reach this site. We keep the amount, currency and date of each tip and the email on its receipt, so we can link the tip to your account (by that email, if you tipped while signed out) and help if you have a question about it. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what Stripe collects.

Feedback You Send

When you use Send Feedback, we store what you write, the type and area you pick, the page you sent it from, and your language. If you leave an email, we use it only to reply about that report. Every report also automatically includes basic technical details to help us fix problems: your browser and device type, screen size and input type, theme and display preferences, time zone, connection type, the app version, the names of your last few actions on the site, any recent error messages from the page, and how many classes, assignments and similar items the site holds on your device (counts only). These details never include anything you've typed or saved, or any personal information. We don't store your IP address with a report, only a scrambled code of it that helps us block floods of spam. Reports marked as spam are deleted after 30 days, and the email on a closed report is erased 180 days after it's closed. To have a report deleted sooner, contact us with its reference code.

Information You Enter Into a Tool

The numbers and text you type into a calculator, template, or planner field are processed entirely within your own browser. Tool inputs are not transmitted to our servers for calculation or storage.

Automatically Collected Technical Information

Like most websites, the infrastructure that hosts and delivers this site — our hosting provider and content delivery network — may automatically collect standard technical information with each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, request timestamps, and similar server log information. This does not include anything you type into a tool. It's used for security, troubleshooting, and operating the website.

Usage Analytics

We use Google Analytics, plus simple counts of our own, to see which pages and features get used and where things go wrong, so we can fix problems and improve the site. This is optional: it only runs if you choose Allow All on the banner or turn it on in Privacy & Data. Until then, Google's script loads but sends nothing and sets no cookies. When it's on, we record which pages you open (with private parts of the address, such as reset links, share codes and search text, removed), which buttons and controls you use (by their place on the page, never by what's written in them), how long a page stays open and how far you scroll, errors the page runs into, and how quickly pages load. We never record anything you type or save: class names, assignments, notes, flashcards and searches never leave your device through analytics. If you're signed in, Google Analytics sees only a random ID made for analytics, never your email, name or account. Our own counts are daily totals with nothing that identifies you, kept for 180 days, and error summaries are kept for 90 days after they last happen. Google's own privacy policy covers what Google does with the data it receives.

Cookies

If you sign in, we set a session cookie so the site can recognize your account on return visits. It's necessary for staying signed in and isn't used for advertising or cross-site tracking. In guest mode, no account-related cookie is set. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits; they aren't set until you allow it, and choosing Necessary Only or turning analytics off in Privacy & Data stops them. The functional local storage described above (classes, assignments, preferences, and the like) is separate from cookies and never leaves your device on its own.

Advertising

Some pages — tool, template, and guide pages, and their category hubs — reserve space for a future ad placement. These are placeholders only: no ad network is connected yet, no ad-related cookies are set, and no ad-tracking data is collected today. This section will be updated with real detail about the ad network, what it collects, and how to opt out of personalized ads the moment one is actually connected. Ads are never shown on your personalized workspace pages (Home, Planner, Classes, Activities, To Do, Study, Library).

Data Retention

In guest mode, everything stored in your browser's local storage remains on your device until you clear it yourself, and since that data is never sent to us, there's nothing on our end to delete. If you have an account, the synced copy of your supported workspace data is retained on our servers until you delete your account (see Your Choices below), at which point it's removed.

International Visitors

If you access this site from outside the United States, technical information collected through the site — including by our hosting provider — may be processed in the United States or other countries where those providers operate.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age group. No account or personal information is required to use any tool on this site.

Your Choices

• Clear all of your locally-stored data at any time via your browser's own site-data settings.
• If you have an account, delete it (and everything synced to it) from Settings → Profile.
• Uninstall/clear individual pieces of data (a single class, deck, or saved result) from wherever that item is managed on the site.
• Turn optional analytics on or off at any time in Privacy & Data. Turning it off while signed in turns it off on every device you use.

Do Not Track

Browsers' "Do Not Track" setting isn't used, since browsers no longer agree on what it means. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as choosing Necessary Only, and analytics stays off.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will change too. We won't reduce your rights under this policy without clear notice.
