Getting Started
What works right away, and what an account adds.
Sync with a Free Account
Create a free account from the profile menu to keep your workspace on every device. Sign up on a device you've been using and everything on it comes with you.
Follow the Checklist
New here? The Getting Started card on Home walks you through adding a class, an assignment and a flashcard deck. Close it any time.
Tips Show Up Once
After you sign in, short tips point out the main controls on each page. Each one appears once, on every device you use.
Search Everything
The search bar at the top finds pages, tools, guides and templates, and your own classes, assignments and decks.
Home & Widgets
Make your Home screen show what matters to you first.

Arrange Your Dashboard
Tap the pencil on Home to edit the layout. On a computer, drag a widget to move it, or drag a corner or edge to resize it. On a phone, drag widgets into the order you want. Undo steps back and Done saves. Your computer and your phone each keep their own layout.
Pick Widget Colors
While you edit the layout, the palette button on a widget picks its color, and the Colors row picks one for all of them. Turn widget borders on or off there too.
Add More Widgets
Open the Widget Library while you edit the layout to add a widget, such as School Year, Breaks & Holidays or Campus Map, or to see what's already on your dashboard.
Edit Inside a Widget
Turn on a widget's edit mode to change or remove items without leaving Home. While it's on, tap an item to open it.
Quick Jump (Phones)
Tap the edge of the screen, or press and hold low on it, to list the places on the page. Slide to one and let go, or tap it. On Home that's your widgets; on other pages it's their sections, classes or cards. Choose its side in Settings.
Your Navigation
In Settings, under Navigation, reorder or hide the pages in the sidebar and the bottom bar. High Contrast Sidebar makes the sidebar links easier to read.
Planner & Calendar
See your week the way you like and take it with you.
Agenda or Calendar
Switch between the agenda list and the calendar at the top of the Planner. In the calendar, pick Day, Week or Month.
Swipe Through Time
Swipe left or right on the Planner to see the next or previous day, week or month. With a mouse or trackpad, drag or scroll sideways.
Back to Today
Tap Today to jump back to the current day. It lands in the middle of the view, so you can see what's around it.
Add It to Your Calendar App
Export to Calendar on the Planner adds your classes, activities, assignments and tests to Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar or your phone's calendar. With an account, subscribe instead and changes show up there on their own.
Make the Week Yours
In Settings, choose the day your week starts on, show only the work week and pick the view the Planner opens in.
School Year & Terms
Set up your school year once, and everything else follows it.
Set Up Your School Year
On the School page, add your school year and how it's split: semesters, trimesters, quarters or terms of your own. Add summer or a J-term as extra terms.
Breaks Skip Class Days
Add Thanksgiving, spring break or any day off under Breaks & Holidays, and your classes skip those days on the Planner and in calendar exports.
Classes Follow Their Terms
When you add a class or activity, pick the terms it runs in instead of typing dates. If you change a term later, you're asked before your calendar moves.
Keep Your Campus Map
With an account, add a photo or PDF of your campus map on the School page. Open it full screen to zoom in and move around.
Your School on Home
The School Year, Breaks & Holidays and Campus Map widgets show the days left in the term, your next break and your map right on Home.
Classes, Assignments & Tests
Keep each class, and everything due for it, in one place.
Everything for a Class in One Place
Tap a class card to open its workspace: notes, study decks, resources, assignments, tests and grades.
Track Your Progress
Tap an assignment's status pill to mark it Not Started, In Progress or Done. Done checks it off everywhere it appears.
Tests & Quizzes
Add upcoming tests and quizzes on the Tests & Quizzes page. They show on the Planner and on Home with the rest of your week.
Your To-Do List
The To Do page groups your to-dos by date and has a search. To keep checked-off to-dos out of the way, turn on Archive Completed To-Dos in Settings.
Archive Instead of Delete
Archive a class, assignment, test or deck you're done with to keep the record without the clutter. The Archive sorts everything by school year and term, with each class's work under it. Search it, or show one kind at a time.
Restore or Delete for Good
Tap Restore next to anything on the Archive page to put it back. Its ⋯ menu deletes it forever, and a whole year can be cleared at once.
Study Tools
Flashcards, quizzes, notes and a library of ready-made decks.

Study, Quiz or Review
Each deck has three ways to practice. Study brings missed cards back until you know them, Quiz tests you with a score, and Review just flips through. Study and Quiz build Mastery; Review never changes it.
Ready-Made Decks
Open the Study Card Library on the Study page for decks on chemistry, math, languages and more. Add one to your decks, or study it right away.
Tap or Swipe to Flip
Tap a card to see the answer, or swipe it left or right. With a mouse, drag it sideways. A deck's Flip button asks the back of each card first.
Your Session Keeps Its Place
A study session closes only with its X, never from a stray tap or Escape. Close it any time and you pick up where you left off.
Share a Deck
With an account, send any deck to a friend or your study group with one link.
Save a Tool's Result
Tools have a Save This Result button next to the answer. Saved results wait for you on the Library page.

Guides, reference sheets and printables, one tap away.
Guides and Reference Sheets
Resources has step-by-step Adulting guides and quick Reference sheets: formulas, units, citations and more. Search finds any of them by topic.
The Interactive Periodic Table
The Periodic Table Reference zooms and pans: pinch, use the + and − buttons, or scroll with a mouse. Tap an element for its details, or filter by type and state.
Print a Template on One Page
Pick your options and Page Setup, check the preview (zoom in, or use Fit Page), then Print. Every template prints on exactly one page. Tap the info button next to an option to see what it does.
Star What You Use
Tap the star on any page, tool, template or guide to add it to Favorites.
Account, Sync & Offline
Your workspace on every device, even without a connection.

Works Offline
Lose your connection and the site keeps working. Changes wait on this device and sync the moment you're back online.
New Versions
When a new version of the site is ready, a banner offers Refresh to Update. Nothing you've saved is lost.
See What's New
After a major update, a short What's New note lists the changes, each with its own icon. Every past update is on the What's New page, linked from Settings.
Themes That Follow Your Day
The site's look changes with the time of day. Tap the theme button in the top bar to pick a fixed theme instead, including dark mode.
Español
Switch the site to Spanish, or back to English, in Settings under Profile.
